The recommended quantities are per animal per day and are only guidelines and should be adjusted according to the animal's needs and activity level.

The amount of food should be reduced if treats are provided.
The dog should always have fresh water available.

Notes on daily feeding quantities:

For lactating dogs: the nutritional requirement depends on the number of puppies, the stage of nursing, and milk production. The food can be provided without restriction, if necessary, especially for large breeds or large litters. In case of excessive weight gain, individual adjustments may be necessary.

For pregnant dogs: during the last trimester of pregnancy, the nutritional requirements depend on the size of the breed and the number of puppies. Due to the possibility of difficulties during birth and other problems, overfeeding should be avoided during the pregnancy period.

For nursing puppies: the recommended food quantities are daily and per animal. They should be adjusted based on the dog's adult weight. The food should be divided into several meals and should be offered dry or soaked in milk or warm water (37 °C) until the end of the 6th week of life. The transition to dry food depends on age, the amount of milk produced by the mother, eating habits, and the individual development of the puppies.
