Subscription Policy

This Subscription Policy governs the terms and conditions applicable to the subscription services offered by Luru Pet Shop, in accordance with the Portuguese and European legislation in force.

1. What is Luru Subscription?

Luru Subscription lets you automatically receive your favourite products at a frequency that best suits your companion’s needs.

By subscribing, you benefit from scheduled deliveries, exclusive discounts and the convenience of not having to place a new order each time you need to replenish your products.

2. Delivery Frequency and Discounts

Discounts vary according to the delivery frequency selected.

You may choose one of the following options:

  • Delivery every 2 weeks → 10% discount

  • Monthly delivery → 7.5% discount

  • Delivery every 2 months → 5% discount

Discounts apply only to products eligible for subscription and remain in effect for as long as the subscription is active.

3. Prices and Payments

All prices shown include VAT at the rate in force.

By subscribing, you authorise automatic recurring charges using the selected payment method.

The amount due for the next order will be charged before each scheduled dispatch.

Before each charge, you will receive an email notification with relevant information about the upcoming delivery.

4. Price Changes

Luru Pet Shop reserves the right to update the prices of subscribed products in the event of changes to acquisition, transport or tax costs, or other external factors.

Whenever a price change occurs, you will be informed within a reasonable time before the next charge.

If you do not agree with the change, you may cancel your subscription without penalty.

5. Subscription Confirmation

After subscribing, you will receive an email confirmation containing the following information:

  • Subscribed product;

  • Selected delivery frequency;

  • Applicable price and discount;

  • Shipping costs, where applicable;

  • Subscription management and cancellation terms.

6. Subscription Management

You retain full control over your subscription and may, at any time:

  • Change the delivery frequency;

  • Update the delivery address;

  • Change the payment method;

  • Temporarily pause the subscription;

  • Resume a paused subscription;

  • Cancel the subscription.

You can manage your subscription through your customer account or by contacting the Luru Pet Shop team.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time, with no additional costs or penalties.

To avoid being charged for the next order, you must cancel before the processing date specified in the email notification.

If the order has already been processed, the standard return terms in force will apply.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, you have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal in relation to the first subscription order.

For the return to be accepted:

  • The product must show no signs of use;

  • The packaging must be in good condition;

  • The product must not fall within the legal exceptions applicable to sealed goods, food or products which, once opened, cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or safety.

Unless otherwise stated, return costs will be borne by you.

9. Shipping and Stock Availability

Subscription orders are subject to Luru Pet Shop’s general shipping terms.

If a product is temporarily out of stock, you will be contacted to choose one of the following options:

  • Reschedule the shipment;

  • Replace the product with an equivalent alternative;

  • Cancel the order at no cost.

10. Changes to the Subscription Terms

Luru Pet Shop may update this Subscription Policy whenever necessary.

Whenever significant changes are made, customers will be informed within a reasonable time.

If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription without penalty.

11. Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with the subscription will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Luru Pet Shop’s Privacy Policy.

Your data will be used exclusively to manage your subscription, process payments, dispatch orders and send communications related to the service.

12. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

This Subscription Policy is governed by Portuguese law.

In the event of a dispute, consumers may refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity, as provided for by law.
